Kari was definitely chosen for her talents and not her talent, as Joe Bob Briggs would say. Needing another girl to round out the trio, they held tryouts for another girl. Kari got the part due to having blonde hair and a nice bod. Unfortunately, her klutziness can get in the way sometimes... and cause comedic potential.
